Pearl Export 22"x18" Bass Drum #31

Just what the title says: I muffle this heavily by putting in a foam muffler, the pillow that comes in with the bass drum purchase as well as a bunch of cloths touching the resonant head.

I play funk with it and I am extremely happy! It has a deep sound with small but nonzero sustain. The beater head I use produces a warm-like attack, which feels like we have low filter goin' on. It is pretty cool!!!

I used to own a pearl export set many years ago and I remembered from back then that the bass drum was sounding amazing!

Da quando ho acquistato e ho avuto "tra le mie mani" questo prodotto, non riesco a smettere di osservarne e esaltarne le ottime qualità di suono e di fabbricazione che questa grancassa Pearl possiede!
La grancassa è fabbricata molto bene, con delle "gambe" che la sostengono robuste.
I tiranti delle pelli sono molto eleganti a mio parere, e sono rivestiti con della gomma nella parte inferiore, così da non rovinare i cerchi di legno, fatti in pioppo.
La pelle risonante è di fabbricazione REMO, come la battente; è già predisposta di un foro, che ne rende il suono asciutto, il foro però non possiede nessun rinforzo che consiglio di aggiungere per sicurezza. A differenza dell'immagine usata da Thomann, la pelle risonante non è di colore nero, bensì è sabbiata con un logo "Pearl" di colore nero.
Il fusto si presenta molto solido, con un rivestimento di colore nero molto elegante e raffinato.
Viene fornita con un cuscino Pearl, da sistemare all'interno della grancassa così da rendere il suono più asciutto quando si va a suonarla, e una chiavetta d'accordatura Pearl.
In conclusione ne consiglio vivamente l'acquisto per qualsiasi utilizzo!

Sehr saubere und klassisch gute Verarbeitung....Pearl eben. Stimmschrauben, Halteklammern, Spannreifen etc etc, es macht Spaß die Felle (mitgeliefert, von Remo) aufzuziehen und die Tom zu stimmen. Ein mitgeliefertes Dämpfungskissen inkl. Klettverschluss zum befestigen rundet das Ganze wirklich ab. Die Bassdrum ist eigentlich vielseitig einsetzbar, fühlt sich aber sicher im Rock und Metal am ehesten zu Hause. Das liegt und hängt natürlich auch daran wie man sie stimmt. Im allgemeinen liefert die Bassdrum einen voluminösen, warmen, teils wuchtigen und punchigen Sound. Ich gebe dennoch nur 4 Sterne für den Sound weil es immer besser geht. Auch hier. Für Fortgeschrittene ist die Trommel gut bis ideal, für Anfänger ein Highlight und für Profis vielleicht was für das Zweit/Ersatz Set. Ich persönlich bin sehr zufrieden denn im Proberaum erfüllt sie mehr als nur ihren Zweck.
