Perfect for beginner recording and musicians
deepimpactfruit 21.08.2021
Overall:
Excellent entry level interface, and depending on use case is peerless when factoring in software as well. It has everything you need for tracking, recording and streaming/desktop set-up and does more than stellar job for the price range.

Pros:
- Software, is brilliant and should not be overlooked. If just starting out the Studio One DAW is worth the price of the unit alone. Also guitar players it includes Ampire which imho is more than adequate compared to other aftermarket solutions. Guitar singer/song write should be looking at this unit for these factors along.
- Great build quality. This might be very superficial but feels like professional piece of kit with full metal construction compared to some prosumer offerings.
- The drivers/software on PC systems is great and lightweight.
- Mixer switch on front is also great at this price point compared to peers.
- Comes with a basic meter on front panel. It’s no substitute to a proper meter but gives immediate feedback for ballpark gain setting etc, but very appreciated at this price point
- The headphone out does enough to power my HD650s, but I am a bit of an audiophile snob so pair it with external amp which gives better performance. But this is to be expected, point is headphone amp does the job and don’t need external amp unless want skull crushing volumes or have some enthusiast headphones. HD560S would be excellent match with this interface for music production/recording.

Things to consider/negatives:
- The mic preamp amp does not have large amount of gain. If running dynamic mics the gain will be cranked and the case of my SM-58 is probably 5db short of where I want it to be. The Focusrite solo mic preamps do measure a bit better, with bit more gain and less noise, and if just want a unit for tracking that might be preferred. It’s workable, but I wouldn’t be matching a SM7B with this without factoring in a preamp for it.
- The 48V phantom power can not be separate per channel. So if planning to record guitar + condenser mic at same time, can’t send the 48V just to the mic.
- There is very little information out there regarding the converters. If want top-tier DAC for audiophile outs I would looking at Motu offerings, however you really need to critical listen to discern any difference. If tracking, you source will be way more important than whatever ADC included here.

I think this is excellent offering and can’t go wrong at pricepoint.

Excellent audio interface
sanaiko 08.08.2023
The audio interface is excellent, I've been using it for 4 weeks. I can say that it is worth the money, at least for the programs that this company offers. Very convenient and clear interface, there is an input for two instruments - microphones and line. I tested with a not very expensive microphone, but I was pleased with the result. As for home use - it showed itself perfectly

Very good right out of the box
JottoWorol 04.11.2021
Just installed the Universal Control driver on my Windows laptop and it works perfectly. No need to reset anything when switching the context from DAW to the usual work at system. My workflow is way more optimized now.

The sound is okay, no complaints. More detailed and just better than the one from the embedded Realtek driver.

Last 5° of the input volume knob the noise level increases dramatically, but its normal for its price.

All knobs feel rigid and overall constructions feels durable.

Upd. Using it for 6 month. They work well with 250ohm headphones. I have Bayerdynamic DT990 Pro 250ohm. It sound loud enought to work. But you have to keep the volume knob at 70-90% for it. To me its like having a computer with 90% full HDD - you can live with that but you cant go further.

Easy to use and reliable
Geert Waegeman 16.07.2024
I used to have a Focusrite interface, it needed extra software and it often provoked crashes on my mac. This one is easy to use. Plug and play. It does what it should do and it doesn't crash. It has no unnecessary feautures, what I like. Very useful for live situations. Preamps are good, considering the price. Anyway I use an external one. The direct monitoring is a must for musicians.

On of the best sound card at this price!
Dario M. 23.06.2020
This is a very good sound card. In my opinion is better than Focusrite serie and the DAW Studio One Artist 4 license is included in the price! I had a lot of different "low-cost" sound cards, but Presonus 24c is the best!

Interface and DAW
voyance 10.02.2021
The interface is great with the added bonus of control on the hardware.
Studio One (Ver. 4) came with the purchase and I have to say I find it very user friendly compared to others.

Very good audio interface for your money
Sasha121 23.07.2020
An excellent choice if you need a consistently high-quality audio card, if compared with focusrite, this card in my opinion works much more stable and allows you to make high-quality recordings, without problems, no cracks and clicks, installed and working-BEAUTY
