Small and active all-rounder

From small PA use in a venue to on-stage floor monitoring, the RCF Art 310-A MK IV is an active speaker for a variety of applications. RCF attaches great importance to original, transparent and dynamic sound, ensured by specially developed FIRPhase filters, alongside 400W RMS as well as bi-amping, which all results in a rich sound experience. The scratch-proof housing of the RCF Art 310-A MK IV makes it resilient enough to handle frequent set-up and dismantling, so it's ideal for live use on the go, while its built-in M10 thread also enables fixed installation.

Ideal for halls and stages

Featuring a 10" subwoofer and a 1" tweeter with 1.5"-VC, the RCF Art 310-A MK IV achieves a maximum level of 127dB, and, with its 800W peak power, can provide sound reinforcement for small venues. Its punchy sound makes it also suitable for use as a monitor speaker on small stages. It features a horn tweeter with an angle of 90°x60°, an IEC input socket for the power supply, and an XLR and a jack input for the audio signal. RCF offers users even more flexibility with the built-in switch for selecting input sensitivity, allowing a presentation or announcement microphone to be directly wired into the speaker.

High fidelity for small venues

RCF has designed the Art 310-A MK IV for use as FOH sound reinforcement in small venues or as a floor monitor for bands or solo artists; key here are the built-in FiRPHASE filters, producing a balanced, transparent, yet powerful sound. What's more, the Flat/Boost switch serves to provide some extra low end. Since the speaker is integrated into the housing, there's no need for an external amp, saving both expense and space. And to avoid drawing any unwanted attention, the matte black plastic housing conveniently blends into the background.

About RCF

In 1949 the Italian manufacturer RCF began to manufacture microphones and expanded its portfolio in the 1950s with a variety of sound reinforcement products. With the creation of its own development department for loudspeakers, RCF was able to make a name for itself and became a supplier to numerous well-known loudspeaker manufacturers in the USA and Europe. In 1970 the firm began to market its own in-house built hi-fi speakers which have since become part of their product range. From 1980 onwards, RCF has also focused on audio amplification for motor vehicles. Since 1990 the firm has been, and remains today, one of the major suppliers in the professional loudspeaker market.

Quick setup, big sound

With its weight of only 12.4kg and top handle, this speaker can be easily managed by one person. Using the built-in pole mount provides the quickest setup method; however, it can also be mounted in a flying configuration by attaching an optionally available U-bracket to the speaker's M10 thread. Next, the user needs to connect the speaker to a power supply and input an audio signal. All that's left to do now is to choose between the Flat or Boost setting, select Line or Mic depending on the input source, turn on the speaker with the power switch next to the mains socket, and slowly turn up the master volume – and the sound is ready to go!
