I tried many jacks and minijacks, but in the end I like REAN the best for anything jack or minijack. feels very good and robust, and easy to solder.

Good plug

This REAN plug has good quality. It is easy to built a cable, but you have to check the aperture of the used cable because the aperture of the plug does not fit to standard XLR-Cables.

Good Quality Connector

A good quality connector (cheaper-range subsidiary of Neutrik). Looks good

Includes a plastic insulating cover to prevent short circuits with the plug shell but there is no spring strain relief.
