For loads of up to 2.6kg

The Roadworx Microphone Arm is a professional, sturdy microphone arm designed to be mounted on a table, and it equipped with a 3/8" threaded connector. The arm is far more adjustable than a conventional table stand, and what is more, it doesn’t take up much space at all on a desk as it can be directly fixed to any table up to a thickness of 56mm with the compact clamp. It also comes with a table feed-through (maximum depth 45mm) for flush mounting on a 20mm bore. What is more, an adapter with a 5/8" thread is also included in the scope of delivery, and this particular model offers an impressive load capacity of up to 2.6kg.

A wing nut for every joint

The Roadworx table-mounted microphone arm is made from sleek black powder-coated aluminium, split into two 43cm sections, which can be directed at three points. The arm is held in place by a spring mechanism, and each joint can be locked by a screw, offering the user versatile leverage and solid adjustment. The central joint plays a crucial role in screwing the arm in place and ensures that it is firmly held in place. Instead of an integrated XLR cable, the Roadworx microphone arm has a clip system, which enables users to attach 8mm diameter (max) cables onto the underside of the arm.

A clamp adapted to circular tubes

The Roadworx Microphone Arm is a handy, budget-friendly microphone boom arm designed for table-mounted use. The clamp, which is included in the scope of delivery, allows users to mount the arm on a tabletop, in addition to which a notch in the top of the clamp also enables users to mount the system on circular tubes. Sturdy locking screws on the joints allow the whole system to be fixed securely, keeping the microphones firmly in position. The Roadworx is the perfect partner for podcasters, vloggers, content creators, influencers, radio hosts, sound engineers, and musicians – or anyone who makes recordings at a desk.

About Roadworx

Roadworx is one of the Thomann-exclusive brands whose products have been in the range since 2011. In particular, the portfolio comprises products such as stands, tripods, adapters, and mounts for every imaginable product category. The Roadwork range thus includes equipment for cameras, smartphones, instruments, microphones and speakers, lighting equipment, and acoustic elements. These items are produced by a variety of experienced and specialised manufacturers, but they are sold directly without intermediaries or complex supply chains, which allows prices to be kept below those of most comparable alternatives.

Comfort and joy

Once the clamp is fixed onto the edge of the table, the Roadworx microphone arm can simply be placed in the desired position and screwed in place to avoid any movement or rotation. Unscrewing it after recording is just as straight forward and the arm can even be left in a "resting" position on the edge of the table. The three adjustable joints offer creators maximum versatility when directing the microphone, and the broad range of movement allows users to work comfortably at their desk without changing their whole setup.
