I have played acoustic accordion for years, and the Fr4xI sure did meet my expectations. Very satisfied with the wide choice of perameter control over the Sounds & Bellows. 100% in that respect. (Cons)! The feel of the accordion casing is not of good quality, especially at the outer edge of the keyboard. The keyboard is not fast enough, especially for repeat notes. I would suggest to Roland not to have to depress the keys so far (treble) side. and also lower the height of the black keys slightly (treble). Apart from that I would recommend it AAA+

So ein Spaß ...

Ich habe das FR-4 jetzt seit ca. 2 Monaten und es ist jedes Mal ein Riesenspaß, das Instrument zu spielen. So viele tolle Sounds und Möglichkeiten!
Ich mag vor allem:
1) Nicht mehr nur "Akkordeon" zu spielen, sondern ein ganzes Orchester.
2) Ich kann leise, oder noch besser: mit Kopfhörern üben, egal wie spät abends.
3) Ich habe jetzt sogar Freibässe.
4) Auch mit Batterien kann man stundenlang spielen, locker 4 bis 5 Stunden.
Weniger gut finde ich:
1) Der Balg ist nicht schlecht, aber etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig und nicht wie ein "echter". Man hat ein bißchen die Sorge, das Spielen mit einem echten Balg zu verlernen.
2) Für die rechte Hand habe ich jetzt 5 oder 6 Tasten weniger als auf meinem alten akustischen Akkordeon. Vor allem die fehlenden tiefen Noten sind manchmal ein Problem.
3) Die Instrumentenwahl ist riesig, aber unübersichtlich und die Bedienung umständlich. Es empfiehlt sich auf jeden Fall, den Roland Editor zu benutzen, um die Einstellungen bequem am Computer zu ändern / zu programmieren.

Una orquesta muy compacta

Compré este instrumento para regalárselo a mi padre, con el fin de que fuera ligero y manejable, descubriendo el potencial del MIDI. Me parece un instrumento muy apropiado para poder acceder a sonidos y acompañamientos orquestales, al igual quea un sampleado de órganos muy logrado. El uso de la configuración de la mano izquierda permite contar con orquesta y percusión, a la vez que se puede usar la mano derecha de un modo más convencional.
Los sampleados de sonidos de acordeón es lo que menos natural me resulta, acostumbrado al instrumento acústico. Sin embargo, encuentro el resto de instrumentos muy naturales.
La dinámica a través de la velocidad del teclado para instrumentos como piano, cuerdas, etc, tiene muy buena respuesta. Igualmente la del fuelle para instrumentos de viento.
El tacto del teclado es muy natural, apenas podría distinguirlo de un instrumento acústico, por suavidad y silencio del mecanismo.
El empleo de los registros y mandos, para la iniciación, es bastante intuitivo.
Lo que peor resuelto está corresponde a las baterías. No es práctico tener que desconectarlas y extraerlas del portapilas para realizar la carga externamente. Debería existir la opción de una batería suministrada por Roland, y que se cargara directamente en el instrumento con el alimentador exterior.
