It plays well, but it does have a ringing overtones to it that can be distracting. It may benefit from some moon gel or other dampening, just like a regular head. I haven't tried that yet.
It could be just the vent of the snare I have it on, but I feel there also some ringing.
Overal it's an okay product, but I'm not sure whether it warrants the extra price over the normal mesh head. I haven't compared the two, so I really can't tell.

Yo estoy usándolo junto a los mismos parches de otras medidas para convertir un kit acústico de pequeños directos en electrónico, junto con los triggers de Roland, para poder reducir el volumen en espacios pequeños donde no se puede tocar muy fuerte.

El resultado es perfecto, y responde de manera muy parecida a los parches de batería acústicos. Te acostumbras en seguida. Yo tenia miedo que se escuchara demasiado el golpe de las baquetas contra la malla, pero en cuanto sale por la P.A. el sonido de batería es lo único que se oye desde el público. También es cierto que puede que si se tenga este problema en el escenario, pero como nosotros tocamos todos con in-ears, no tenemos que lidiar con ese inconveniente.

Sin duda, 100% recomendable.
