I've been using this gig bag for the last couple of months and I have to say I'm very impressed. I'm not a hugely experienced double bass player but I've been through several gig bags so far and this one is by far the best, especially considering the very reasonable price.
It's seen a lot of action in a short period of time, I'm generally lugging my bass around London to rehearsals and gigs so, combined with my bass buggy, it's seen a lot of miles and a lot of different modes of transport.
The build quality is very good and all the handles seem to have been stitched well. The zip looks pretty sturdy too. You get the impression this product has been built to last and I feel very confident carrying my double bass around in it.
I like the design too, very simple and elegant, the only garish bit being the small reflector stripe on the front, which I suppose is a good idea when walking around at night!
There are a lot of nice details such as the placing of the handles and the abundance of pockets. I also really like the soft bow case which fits very snugly in one of the front pockets. The backpack straps are also well placed and easily adjustable to get a good fit and comfortable height when walking around.
All in all I'd recommend this product as a great low budget option. I'm sure there's better, more expensive gig bags out there which are better but for the time being I'm very happy with this one.
