I have tried basically all of the practice pads around and this one is simply THE BEST in this price range. First of all, it has 8 mm threads that make it suitable for all generic practice pad and cymbal stands. Also the round shape means you can just scroll it in and start playing without any additional adjustments.
The pad´s rebound feels quite heavy in the beginning but you´ll get used to it very fast. It´s also probably the most silent pad there is and it´s sound is quite pleasant. Also the price is very competitive and there simply is no better pad you´d get for this price.

Quietest practice pad out there!?
Nederweert 12.01.2020
Good quality pad, very quiet ... perfect for sitting on the couch in the evening while watching TV and not making your wife mad. This pad provides a lot of resistance during drumming, but you can expect that from moongel. Quality is ok, price I find on the high end.

Great Practice pad
Mark4348 01.11.2015
I thought this was a great product to practice my rudiments on. I mostly play on an electric kit where there's loads of rebound and I wanted a pad that did the opposite. This was great, I really have to use my wrists and fingers properly and it's even more apparent that I need to develop my weaker hand. It's an expensive pillow alternative!
Be aware that you'll need a cymbal stand for it, I'm happily using it on a low table as it also comes with pads on the bottom

Quiet and forcing accurate technique
LesMatt 10.05.2024
My technique for double-strokes improved almost over-night using this pad. Less rebound (but not 0 as some say) means you have to work harder with your wrist and fingers. Also its more quiet than almost any other pads i've tried. Takes little space, i have it mounted on a simple practice pad stand. Not sure about longevity yet but so far so good.
