The Ganschhorn was created in 2012 from Thomas Gansch's desire to combine the playing and tonal advantages of a rotary valve trumpet with the easier handling of a perinet trumpet.
To mark the company's 60th anniversary in 2021, the two Ganschhorn models (Standardweight and Heavyweight) underwent a thorough update, including minor improvements to the leadpipes, which are now permanently soldered into all horns, resulting in even more stable intonation and a more precise/direct response in all registers.
Note: polished instrument that tarnishes over time and develops a significantly darker and matt finish.
