I originally ordered this frame drum bag to carry and transport mthe Schlagwerk Pandariq I purchased through Thomann. The bag is a little too big for this drum for my liking unfortunately but I knew when ordering it would be a couple inches larger, the thing to keep in mind is that a couple inches larger in diameter is a substantial amount of extra volume. The case itself is very well made and sturdy, the zippers and tough and high quality, the front pocket is great for extra storage of mallets and other things. The shoulder strap is very comfortable and contoured to fit the body nicely. The amount of padding seems to offer decent protection, although if traveling extensively, or if you are prone to clumsiness, I'd recommend cutting some plastic (either corugated or plexiglass or something similarly lightweight but strong) into circles the same diameter as the case and slip them in to protect the head of your drum against punctures, the foam padding is good against dents but skins are fragile and could get poked or too much pressure put on one spot.
