I am in a hurry to inform you of my observations
Fanthom 18.11.2022
I was looking for a microphone for small noisy scenes.
I was thinking of buying an Audix OM7. But MD 445 was interested in the fact that it is a new product. And that is expensive enough. If it costs a lot, maybe it really has some parameters that surpass other microphones?
I find that the MD 445 lacks bass, it sounds kind of narrow. When singing right next to the grill, I don't feel the proximity effect, I don't hear muffled, low frequencies and that's what I like.
I expected the MD 445 to be very resistant to feedback. I did the test. The Shure SM58 is less resistant to feedback, but the EV ND96 have about the same resistance.
In the description of the microphone, it is written that the MD 445 has a "large diaphragm diameter".
But the diaphragm of the MD 445 microphone picks up sound very narrowly. You sing like into a narrow tube. A centimeter to the side and the vocals become barely audible.
This is truly a high-rejection microphone. It is very good in small noisy scenes. But you need to sing exactly - on axis. And if you are a singing guitarist - you have to look at the fretboard of the guitar and then it is difficult to keep your head exactly at the microphone all the time. The EV ND96 is similar, but its head is widened, and lips it can be moved about 2 cm to the side. So, i think, MD 445 is not very suitable for a singing guitarist. Who, like a true representative man of rock and roll, still likes to shake convulsively on stage. The MD 445 could be attempted by a vocalist in an underground heavy metal or punk band who doesn't play any instruments, just fiddling around with a microphone on a small, noisy stage. Such a vocalist could hold the MD 445 precisely to his mouth and it might be effective.
Also, MD 445 would probably be good for snare sounding. I had this idea and will have to try it when I get a chance.
MD 445 is a very expensive microphone, it is not clear what the reason for its high price is.
But I like expensive and experimental products, so why not have such an oddity in my collection? MD 445 will definitely come in handy in small noisy stages where feedback often occurs and where high-rejection properties are needed.

professionelles Vocalmicro

Bin total begeistert. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Dazu gehört natürlich auch ein hochwertiges Kabel. Ich empfehle Sommer cable.
