Multi-receiver transmission

The HDR 175 wireless headphones feature a closed-back, circumaural design and tip the scales at just 310g (including the batteries). They have a maximum sound pressure level of 114dB and the frequency response as stated by the manufacturer is 17Hz to 22kHz. The TR 175 is a multi-purpose transmitter that doubles as both a charging cradle and docking station. It also features multi-receiver transmission, allowing two pairs of wireless headphones to be used simultaneously, and both optical and 3.5mm stereo jack inputs are provided so that both analogue and digital audio sources can be connected. The user even has the option of switching between the two inputs.

For wireless afficionados

With the RS 175, Sennheiser has created a high-performance wireless headphone system with outstanding sound quality and an impressive range of features. Provided there is visual contact between the transmitter and the headphones, audio transmission is possible over a distance of up to 100m and with a maximum operating time of 18 hours. The RS 175 also allows situational sound customisation and, as previously mentioned, supports both analogue and digital audio sources and allows up to two pairs of wireless headphones to be connected at the same time, all of which makes it perfect for audiophiles with a soft spot for wireless technology.

About Sennheiser

In June 1945, Prof. Fritz Sennheiser founded the Wennebostel Laboratory, which initially produced measuring equipment. Commissioned by Siemens in 1945, the young company developed the MD-1 microphone, which was launched in 1946. After the development of further microphones, the company was renamed Sennheiser Electronic in 1958. Two years later, Sennheiser introduced the MD 421 dynamic microphone, which is still in production today and still held in high esteem by many sound engineers. Further groundbreaking developments, such as the HD 414 headphones and the MD 441 microphone classic, hugely enhanced the company’s international reputation, eventually making Sennheiser one of the leading manufacturers of microphone and headphone systems in the world.

From music to home entertainment

The sound customisation options offered by the RS 175 ensure an enjoyable listening experience in any situation, whether it be music, audiobooks, or films. The dynamic bass boost delivers a full, rich sound by increasing the audio bass response, while the two virtual surround sound modes create a livelier and more spatial stereo sound. In addition, the ergonomic design of the HDR 175 wireless headphones offers excellent wearing comfort. The RS 175 system is also very easy to operate, as the main controls are all located on the headphones themselves.
