An okay wireless mic pair for most circumstancesAn okay wireless mic pair for most circumstances

Hi Thomann!
We bought this pair of wireless mics to be used for concerts and events, where speech amplification is required. As we locate in a wireless-heavy environment, we had suffered some problems with earlier wireless mics, which have a predetermined frequency slot, and that was one of the main reasons, why we chose these mics.
Setup was alright, although I had to actually read the manual to get the mic and reciever frequencies matched. After matching the frequencies, any problems regarding frequencies have been very rare, and in that way we are extremely pleased with getting this pair of mics. The batteries seems to last quite long, even as long as 9 hours of non-stop use. Also the pad switch in the mic comes in handy with some sound producers :)
The out-of-the-box sound of the microphone isn't anything special - I mean, they are way better than the normal SM58's, but you can say that about pretty much any microphone, that has been designed in the 00's. The handling noise is a problem, as the body seems to transmit all small taps directly to the capsule itself. Also feedback is an issue with this mic - you have to spend a lot of time EQ:ing, in order to get any reasonable sound pressure out of your vocal monitor.
I know, for this price I can't ask for all handy things that a mic could have, but especially the handling noise has been an issue to consider. If you know, your mic will sit in a stand for most of its life, you will be fine, but I wouldn't recommend this mic for anyone, who moves around a lot while using the mic.
Technically speaking, this is a pretty good mic with some flavs, you have to keep in mind. It still is a lot nicer to use than these "fixed frequency" wireless mics, so choosing between an cheap AKG wireless mic and this, I would obviously choose this one. If I had other options and a bigger budget, I would look a bit further. 4/5

Tolle Mikros für relativ kleines GeldGreat microphones for relatively little money

First of all, this microphone set cannot be compared with the Sennheiser G4. Nevertheless, with this set you get decent wireless microphones for beginners or semi-professional users. I use these things with bands, presenters and in conference technology. There are no external antennas included, but the range is still ok. The settings are very easy to use. You set the receiver part and synchronize with the handheld transmitter. Very easy. The microphones have a great sound and offer a decent cardioid characteristic. Clear purchase recommendation for someone who doesn't want to have the Mercedes among the radio microphones.
