Perfect fit, and perfect job.
Madman 24.05.2017
I bought these Windscreen, because, I wanted to record videos using the BETA without having a pop filter covering half the faces of who I'm recording.

After trying a few microphones for my voice, I really liked the sound of the BETA 57.
And after trying with some guys and girls, I found this microphone to be my favorite for a normal male voice.
Unfortunately some of the guys I recorded, just, really, need a pop filter.

With this windscreen I find that the sound isn't affected all that much, it just gets a little bit darker (and maybe a tiny little bit muffled) which I personally like.

I've also used it on an outside video recording, in a, somewhat windy day, and it did a perfect job, as expected.

Overall, it works just perfectly for my use.

Strange but Great...
Hilvert H. 16.02.2015
When I received my delivery, Reliable as Always with Thomann I must add, I was pleasantly surprised with this windshield. Looks the part, it's well made and is Thick enough to do the job as a windshield, but also as a Pop-screen. Good quality.
And then came the strange bit: putting it onto my Beta 57A.
It Fits onto the microphone Perfectly, but the bottom ring is magnetic, which feels a bit weird, and it feels like it could come off the microphone at any time. I think it's a good idea to take it off when You store the microphone when not in use.
And it Certainly changes the appearance of the Microphone. The Beta 57a is not a Big microphone anyway, and with the AWS, the microphone looks much smaller, like a short miniature mic. I quite like the New look!!
It's a bit of a shame that the ring of the AWS obscures the mic's Logo, but hey, who cares. Looks and feels Really Good.
I am yet to try the mic out properly with the AWS, I use the microphone with a Chord harmonica, which is a wind instrument and the Breath through the harmonica is spread out in the harmonica, which is why I decided to add the AWS.
At my first try-out, it works Very well and the mic sounds Much better than without the AWS, I can hardly wait for my first try at a gig.

Good product, and a Big Thank You Thomann, for the delivery!!

Looks so good
Tooomas 14.03.2020
I use beta 57 mostly for vocals, spoken word and flute. On all those cases using a windshield while recording makes later work easier.
The mic looks really nice with it, and the look is actually somewhat important when you work with people who have seen microphones before.
Block out lot of biger pops and hisses.
Could be alot cheaper.

Not very magnetic.
A Dutch Person 11.01.2021
Not used in the field yet. The magnetic ring is not very magnetic, so I wonder if one needs it at all. Maybe a piece of slide on foam would also do the job (and cheaper).
