I think I have reviewed some Sommer Cables before, but I can't say enough good things about them!
The first thing you notice when you receive one in the post is that they look fantastic. Very appealing aesthetic, and the build quality is already very obvious from the outset.
Closer inspection tells you that the initial good impression of build quality was not misplaced, these are really sturdy, hard-wearing robust cables. I would be happy using these on my live rig and plan to do so when my new band is off the ground.
But let's get to the really important stuff, shall we? How do they sound?
Amazing. Super-clear signal, even months after first use. I've been using a full set of these for over a year now, and I did a "before and after" recording, one when I first got them, and another about a year or so later, and there's no degradation of quality over time. The extremely high quality jacks and cabling pair up to equal an indispensable product. I could never go back to a cheaper product after using these, I tried to after forgetting some of my gear for a rehearsal and I really noticed the difference!
Spend your money wisely, invest in these cables, you won't regret it!
