Used this combined with Remo P3 front and batter head, added a kickport for extra punch. Got the ultimate metal kick, sounds and feels amazing

Does it's job well

If it's dampening you want, then this is the product for you. It kills almost all of the ringing of the bass drum. I haven't tried it in a studio yet, but for rehearsal it works really well. It fits like a glove (make sure you get the exact dimension for your bass drum). Only reason for me not to give it 5 stars is that I haven't tried it in the studio.

This pillow fits exactly in the bass drum and doesn't move at all, even if you transport your drums. It is a way better solution than a blanket and doesn't cost too much.
