Soundman A3 XLR Power Supply Adapter
Mike.P 14.07.2015
I bought this instead of buying the regular A3 Adapter as this allows me to use the microphones with devices that don't provide plug in power or a 1/8 input.

The device is made of solid materials with quality connecters that won't break on you. the slot for the battery can be trouble as it feels like your going to break it when trying to remove the top. The cable between the connectors and the adapter are coiled as to prevent damage to the device, which comes in handy when you don't have anything to rest the adapter on, as you can just dangle it from the recorder.

If your just going to use the Soundman microphones with a field recorder you might be better getting the cheaper regular A3 Adapter, if not I definitely recommend this device instead.

Works perfectly for XLR input into field recorders
Tim Bishop 28.08.2013
This is great for XLR input when using a field recorder. I've found that the signal isn't quite hot enough to not need further boosting on field recorder mic inputs but the sound is clean, a good boosted level and the battery lasts a long time. Because of the curly cables it's durable and helps avoid strain on the connectors, which is always a good thing!

Grandios!
Anonymous 09.05.2014
