This is one of the cheapest guitars available out there, so can anyone tell me how it looks, sounds, and plays better than many others with double the price? It’s a seriously comfortable instrument to hold while sitting and while standing (I mean… It’s still a strat, right?), but more than that, it has a great feeling neck, with an awesome satin finish.
Playing it through the Iridium I can tell it loves gain more than anything. With a Muff style fuzz I got to Smashing Pumpkins territory very quickly, and with the Rat’s distortion I felt like I was in some clash of english punk bands in the 1980s. The guitar is THAT good, yes!

An exciting instrument that is worthy in all that matters, and one that would blend in fine in the Paranormal or Contemporary series.

Basically a 10/10 for Squier, and for Thomann with the speedy, yet reliable service.

the build quality on this guitar is not too bad.. one slightly high fret, the truss rod needed tightening slightly, and the action was a bit high, but I sorted all that... but extremely disappointed that Thommann advertised this guitar with pictures as made in Indonesia.. when the one I received was made in China, something they need to correct in the listing..

Une guitare incroyable, j'en reviens pas pour ce prix. Arrivée bien réglée avec la bonne intonation, rien à toucher. les cordes d'usines sont étonnement décentes.
La guitare est très belle, le manche aussi avec des traces qui donnent un peu de caractère.
Le son est surprenant, je joue du métal avec et ça envoie ! ma meilleure guitare en terme de qualité/prix.

Servus, vorab geiles Teil

Ich glaube zum Bestellvorgang und Lieferung brauch nichts erzählen, da wie bei Thomann gewohnt unkompliziert und die Ware bislang immer sehr gut gesichert und ohne Schaden ankam. Also Top.

Technisch kam die Squier einwandfrei daher, keine Lacknasen oder verbogener Hals usw.

Die aufgezogenen Seiten sind schon in richtig guter Spielposition eingestellt (flache und präzise Action) perfekter Seitenabstand und ich persönlich empfinde den Klang und die Bespielbarkeit der Seiten so gut, als das die Ernies immer nicht drauf sind. Die Nops reagieren präzise der Humbucker tut was er soll. Lediglich die Klinkenbuchse wirkt ein wenig zu weiträumig, bislang aber noch kein Kabel rausgeflutscht, fühlt sich nur etwas unsicher an, hält aber sicher. Ein samtweicher Neck und ein einwandfreies Fretboard laden zum schreddern ein…..
Der Humbucker ist solide und hat ordentlich sustain, wäre aber der einzige Grund an der Squier im Nachgang einen höherwertigen einzusetzen.
Ich werde erstmal gar nichts ändern, da die Gitarre so wie sie eingestellt ist, ausgepackt wurde, sich genial anfühlt und sofort einen Backflash verpasst in Sachen Grunge und Punk.

Ich liebe diese Teil, die Farbe ist krass und der Sound richtig gut.
