A beautiful guitar from a highly respected manufacturer ..... however, and it is a big however:
1. Fret buzz was present in multiple locations and was quite bad.
2. Using a fret rocker, quite a number of frets in various locations had to be adjusted by a private guitar tech to fix.
3. Once a jack was plugged in, the sound was cutting in and out and the private guitar tech. had to look at the electrics to fix this issue.
Thomann were very professional and when given the financial quote for these fixes, they refunded that amount to me. It saved having to send the guitar back.
The fact that those issues existed in such a high spec guitar was very disappointing, especially given that it is a strandberg.
Following the fixes and adjustments by the private guitar tech., the guitar started singing beautifully .... as it should have from day one!
3/5 stars as a result in the total and quality, because of the issues mentioned. 4/5 for sound given the initial problems (however after the fix it is closed to 5/5). Features are 5/5. Full credit to Thomann and their professional response. Strandberg,I was disappointed given your high reputation (se above).
