Small and powerful

I had been using Voodoo Labs power supplies for years before the Strymon units came onto the market and curiosity got the better of me so I ended up trying the Zuma. I could't get over the difference. I mean Voodoo labs are great supplies and it was not exactly noisy but the Strymon made my rig completely quiet. Not only that but because it doesn't have a standard toroidal transformer in it, it also doesn't give off much EMI so putting a wah pedal right on top of it doesn't cause any interference. Add to that that you have some ports being switchable to 12V or 18V and that every port gives you 500mA at 9V. The big advantage of every port being high current means that swapping out a low current draw pedal with a high current means you're still covered. Then if you add more pedals you can just expand your power system with another Strymon, be it the Ojai, Ojai R30 etc. My board has grown quite a bit so I have already added an Ojai and Ojai R30 to my board and all is well. These are the only power supplies I will use now and are worth every penny as far as I'm concerned.

Perfect alimentation

I would prefer an ojai r30 + an expansion kit to enlarge my pedalboard than a single power block, to avoid use of longer cable (personal preference).
With this power block, no need of noise reduction pedal that would affect eventually my tone. With Ojai, the pedals run perfectly.

Great power

All across the world I use the Strymon power supplies and have no issue with power at all. Even dodgy venue electricity that usually sends a daisychain powersupply into extreme noise.

Worth it more than putting your money in any guitar pedal.

It was a great choice few years down the path

I started with a smaller pedalboard a couple of years back and after the inevitable increase in pedals, I turn into the expansion unit, and I couldn't be happier. No problems with either units so far, apart from the locked in center negative, it offers good flexibility with 12 and 18 volt outputs on 2 of the ports. Each port is isolated, and offer plenty of current for your digital pedals. I used it pretty punishingly (forgetting to turn of sometimes weeks at a time), it's still performing like a champ. If it breaks, I will buy another one.
