Fabulous OB-Xa emulation

The sound quality from this softsynth is very,very good. We truly are in amazing times when it comes to software emulations of hardware classics.
My only complaints are the strange reason rack style layout for the GUI with a front and back page and the preset browser is really not up to the latest and greatest like U-he for example.

Still, the sound is fabulous and that's the main thing.

Klingt halt ähnlich, wie ein Oberheim...

Hatte kurz nach dem Kauf einen überholten OB-Xa als Leihgabe und muss sagen: Die Software kann verdammt nah an den Sound rankommen, wenn man sich eine Weile damit beschäftigt. Der Sound erscheint zwar etwas kühler als der analoge Synthesizer, ist aber genauso schön schwebend und bringt eine schöne Portion Bass mit. Der klangliche Unterschied kommt natürlich auch durch das Alter. Der Synthesizer wurde ja Anfang der 80er gebaut... Ich kann daher nicht sagen, wie sich der Unterschied zu einem "neuen" darstellen würde. Auf jeden Fall kann ich die Software empfehlen!
