This speaker so far is yet to be maxed out, and quite easily rattles doors at the other side of a large house on about 200w.
The speaker hits veeerrrryyyy low when EQ'd properly and sounds surprisingly clean while its at it. Unsurprisingly thomman once again impressed me with the good value and service they offer. The only thing that concerns me with the speaker is the top panel can flex a bit with weight on it which makes me uneasy. Still fairly rigid though.
Good quality monitor stands, BUT REMOVE O-RINGS ON THEM!!! The O-rings broke they were so tight on second use anyway, and on my PA108 managed to snap a monitor stand with the force required to install the stand. Apart from that, the speaker doesn't seem like it will fall apart anytime soon.
Overall, to sum up. Buy it

The Box PA502
clearskiesahead 17.05.2014
This passive speaker is the clear favourite in its price range. The frequency response is pleasantly balanced, it produces negligible operating noise, and its crisp output is more than ample for any pub gig or small to medium party event. For a practice room or home studio on a budget this would be a first choice. When coupled with a set of bass bins, these speakers will handle most larger function rooms with ease.
The PA502's robust plastic construction and speaker grid will handle all the knocks and bumps of life on the road, which makes it a slightly weighty option for its size (its only disadvantage in my opinion).

Great product for the price
Lea M. 06.10.2014
I bought 2 of these in a bundle with Behringer PMP4000. Very happy with their performance -especially for the price- , they have great power and are very good sounding both on low and high frequencies. They seem very sturdy so they should last well, ( but don't mind the little plastic "legs" that are supposed to stabilise them if used as a monitor - they are pretty clumsy and useless in my opinion)

i'm impressed

from the first look i was afraid that it'd be cheap sounding, honestly i'm not a big fan of this kind of speaker design but i had to buy it because of the price.
i'm glad that i bought it! i used it as a permanent installation for a multipurpose theatre (i'm a contractor), it sounded really good for both music and speech, definitely recommend and would buy again.
