Perfect PA setup

This bit of kit is very usefull. It connects all the on stage amps, mics, etc into an easy to use bundle of cables. The mixing desk then connects from each cable, and we have a great sound balance. We can also run a return cable through the snake, to feed an onstage monitor. It all helps to give us a great sound , both front of house, and , as importantly, on stage, where we can hear the drums, bass etc. It comes on a handy little reel, and is so easy to use.

Handy Addition for my Mixer

When I received the ssnake MCT 8 Multicore on Drum 8 microphone input 15mtr cable ( was pleasantly surprised with the great quality. This is an ideal and progressive addition to my Alto Professional 1604 mixer doing away with masses of tangled microphone leads. I use the Multicore drum when setting up sound systems requiring 8 plus microphone setups. It makes life so easy to have a single multi core running back to the mixer which makes the setup simpler and safer. Strip-down is also easier and quicker. The quality of the male and female SLR's is excellent, trustworthy and dependable. This piece of kit is very reasonably priced and a perfect solution to untidy tangles. I would have no hesitation in recommending this product to anyone considering its purchase. As per the norm, Thomann is the perfect choice when purchasing any PA equipment. Delivery is prompt and well packed even if delivery cost is a bit pricey. Overall you will not get better than Thomann.

This is a great bit of kit. kept tidy by the drum which has a small plastic lock catch to stop the drum rotating in transit. The cable clips are strong and robust and the cables are a good quality.

I've gigged this heavily for the last year mic'ing up my drum kit and it makes for quick and easy setup / set down.

I would recommend this to anyone looking at it. Very good value for money.

In the time it came I had no time for sending it back.. it came already damaged (broken plastic cable drum, still got original unboxing photo somewhere) and the first input did not worked at all, but I needed it so badly for small one week festival, I decided not to claim and re-soldered it myself (easy fix).

It is quite bulky for only 8 channels and it looks awful on stage beside drum-kit. If you are looking for something neat to have nice de-clustered stage, look for something else, if you are lazy just like me and you like winding cables on drum, then go ahead and buy this, it will save you some time during setup, artist changes and teardown.
