Good value cable for non-live application
Janice 22.07.2019
This is a good cable for light/moderate use. The connectors are decent quality. The cable is fine too, especially on a shortish length like this. I use them in the studio where I need to change from one connector type to another or as extenders on looms. no problems with noise or poor joints. the XLRs fit with all my sockets no problem.

For regular live use I would go for something more robust, but for studio use where they're not getting plugged in + out all the time, or as spares (everyone should carry some of these!) they are perfect.

Great price to quality value
tomtomssi 14.02.2018
I got this to run my hardware effects in and out of my previously purchased M-Audio M-Track Eight.

The wire is somewhat flimsy but I since I don't need move it around at all in my home studio, it works wonders there. I would spend a bit more and get sturdier outside of the studio, though.

Usually cheap wires come with cheap plugins but these are well made. I don't have to fear that when I pull this out of a socket, the plug and cable will separate.

I'll be buying these when I need short studio cables.

Very useful
Anonymous 02.06.2016
Yes, very useful indeed! I feel far too many of us hesitate when going for smaller, lesser known cable brands but in my situation I felt the Sssnake was worth a shot. So far so good!

I have this cable coming out the back of my audio interface at line level to a ReAmp box. The results have been as expected so far and I've experienced no problem. Doesn't seem like the sturdiest of cables (it doesn't seem to be low quality, flimsy build either actually) but I imagine that if this was getting thrown around on the road a lot, it may not stand the test. But I'm not one to comment. It's plugged in and hasn't moved since - it works exceptionally well!

General comment

the sssnake brand is generally good (regardless of the low price)

i basically wired most of my studio with it and it's not short of quality noth sonic and build .. opposite to some other claims that higher priced cables sound better ... i have recorded many albums in my studio and all of my customers were nothing but happy .. no one ever noticed any sonic quality inferiority and i use them for preamp-patchbay connection with high-end gear (UA 4-710d & Neumann U87) and it has not ruined the clarity or character of any of my gear.

i surely recommend :)

can't rate 5 star because i don't know how it will handle hot weather and long use.
