An excellent in ear monitor. I use it for only my own vocal monitor. I can hear everyone else's from the onstage sound. It is absolutely perfect for this application and at last I can hear my own vocals in the monitor. I have my own headphone buds that I use, and I only use one bud, as I like to use the other ear for the onstage sound. Regarding quality of the feed, I don't know what other folks are going on about. I can hear myself, I'm not even mildly concerned in the sound quality. I need to hear myself so that I can sing in tune. With the rest of the band hammering away, I don't think I would be able to tell the difference between the highest quality hifi and the lowest quality. The sound quality is certainly good enough for me.

My only issue is with the belt pack. I wear a suit onstage and using a belt clip isn't suitable. If I could get a strong clip to attach it to my guitar strap, that would be perfect. I can feel a duct tape experience coming on.

Great product for me.

OK for the price

Generally, it works fine. Decent range and acceptable sound quality. There are, however, some issues with it:

- The battery cover won't close if using rechargeable batteries, as they are a bit larger than regular batteries. With rechargeable batteries, you have to keep the cover open.
- It needs a high input level. The line output from my Scarlett 2i4 was too low to be usable, so I had to use the headphone output instead.
- Unsure if the limiter works. I've tried triggering the limiter, but the "limiter" sign never comes on, and I certainly don't hear it in the headphones.
- Not much of a squelch. Make sure to turn the receiver off first, then the transmitter. Otherwise, you'll get really loud noise from the iems.

And now a note about 863 mHz devices. Some of the frequencies used by this product are also used in consumer wireless headphones and such. This makes it somewhat compatible with other products you may have at home, but you may also hear your neighbour's TV on your iem.

Great value

I've used this both for performers (get them to supply their own earbuds but the ones here are ok....) and for a "link" to remore hotel installed sound system. Here the minijack let me swap it for the "resident" iPod and the volume control was great for matching or zoning the levels. All this and no wires running through doors to trip people up! Battery life is good enough to last any reasonable wedding reception afternoon + evening. Only real drawback is that of bandwidth - you'll eat into the number of licence exempt channels you can run (4 in Ch70 in the UK) so lose number of radio mics...

Moderate sound quality

First impression is great - these things have had a leap forward in 5-10 years. Good quality case and everything packed well inside. Even batteries for receiver and mounting brackets for antennas to bring them at front panel.

Getting them to use is simple and connection is ok. Menu is very easy to use and background light helps you to navigate. Settings are straightforward and with little or none experience you can set it up.

Sound quality. Compared to previous t.bone series this is a huge disadvantage. There is extreme high level of idle noise which of course will get to background and you will not hear it when using with normal/hot signal. Music sounds kind of old telephone (no matter if its mono or stereo). This might be ok for monitoring speech only, but with music material you should know this. Some bumping (automatic compression etc in circuit) also, but it is not the switchable limiter.
