A lot of value for money

Using this mic for teamspeak etc. and voice communications in games and the sound quality is very good. It does pick up quite some static at distances longer than 30CM~. But you can eliminate nearly all of it with software alone. However it would be nice to have an permanent power supply apart from battery power.

It does what it says on the box
Anonymous 04.04.2016
I've bought this mic cause I wanted a stereo mic for a while now and this one was pretty cheap considering.
I've only tested speech recordings so far and it works ok, sound quality is decent but not the best obviously.
It does not have much of a background noise and is fairly sensitive, which is good.
Would buy again.

Used them for film.

They are for replacing the camera microphone. It's not a "boom mic", it's a small condenser. For it's size, it captures pretty well the sound. The preamp is low noise. Cables are a bit thin, but if they would be thicker, it would be very visible on film. If you do interviews, YT vlogs or similar things, this might be what you need.

Save up for a better alternative
Anonymous 23.05.2016
Considering the price of the microphone, my expectations were already set very low. Despite having low expectations already the microphone was very disappointing.

The box which toggles between mono and stereo mode made no difference (other than being a switch).

When plugged into my computer, simply plugging the microphone into the onboard sound card directly gave the same quality as running the microphone through the box and setting the switch to stereo mode.

In mono mode the microphone sounded absolutely atrocious. If you decided that you want to save a couple of euros and get this microphone don't bother with the switch box (which fortunately saves you some money on batteries).

The sound quality after plugging the microphone into my PC was not great. There was always background noise and it picked up too much ambient noise. The microphone is also extremely quiet. I applied the max amount of boost Windows allowed and my friends would still have to boost me even further through Teamspeak.
