Used this table stand combined with the GM 5212 for streaming. I really like the microphone, this table stand seems like the perfect accessory but the XLR connector in the back failed spectacularly because of a plating issue, a visual inspection showed serious issues with the nickel plating on all contacts with the bare brass visual and that is giving heavy noise and static at the slightest touch, rendering the set almost unusable. Having never experienced an XLR connector failing or seen connector plating this bad, this experience shocked me a little. I found no manufacturer identification markings on the connector. I guess Thomann selected this connector for its extremely small flange as replacements will never fit this table stand.
Since I really like the microphone but do not trust the connector supplier that made it into the desk stand, I decided not to replace it but to mod the table stand to fit a cable gland leading to a new Neutrik connector. But I believe a bad review for this failure is more than justified.

Brilliant piece of equipment
Nathan745 21.05.2019
I frequently provide sound for events like prize givings, school open days and church events. Being able to use a gooseneck mic on a podium with this stand instead of a typical mic stand or other style of table stand makes everything much more presentable and neat.
Mostly importantly there is no loss of audio clarity.
Brilliant piece of kit, will be buying more!
If there is any criticism it is that it's form factor is perhaps a bit large, but in saying that, the weight ensures it wont slip or slide or get knocked easily as the rubber base and weight together hold the microphone in place really well.

Great Microphone Table Stand
Audioline 03.08.2018
Was looking for a microphone table stand for our AKG GN30's when I found this product. The quality is superb, it's got enough weight to keep it from moving on desks and the rubber feet prevent it from slipping on uneven surfaces.
The XLR connectors are robust and have endured a couple months of use without any issue.
The only issue I found was the colour changed slightly from the first units that I bought to the last ones but it's not a big difference and won't affect the performance in any way.
Overall, a great product, and way cheaper than similar solutions from other brands.
