It is OK but, for the money, it is excellent.

I have used it for my JCM 900 1x12 combo and it works very well. For the price it is excellent.

It is reasonably robust and doesn't present any worries for what is quite a heavy and bulky 1x12 combo. I'm not sure I would trust it with anything bigger though. It isn't adjustable but the angle and height off the floor is pretty much spot on for my rig so, if I could adjust it, it would probably end up where it is any way.

I have other, seemingly more complex and adjustable stands, but, for all their adjustment, they don't seem to get my amp where I like it and don't give the confidence of stability that this offers. This also folds quicker and more conveniently for travel.

Not a criticism but the only tiny niggle is the arms are the same width as the feet on my Marshall so it has to sit one side or the other rather than exactly centrally. It plays with my OCD as a result but I can live with it.

It is superb value for money and I am certainly considering buying more the same for my other small amps.

I
Ideal for small amps
Issy 08.03.2022
A good amp stand that fits my 1 x 12 amp perfectly. I have no issue reaching the connections etc on the back of my amp and the amp sits securely on the stand. I am not sure that the sound quality from my amp has been improved, but the angle that the amp sits at directs the sound towards my ears instead of my legs, so I hear it better. My practice room has wooden floors and putting the amp on the stand vastly reduces noise pollution and vibrations, my neighbours and I are very happy ;-)

good price, even if I had to tinker with it a lil bit
Tiwanakota 05.02.2024
out of the box it was pretty wabbly as one leg seems to be a tad longer than the other one, but with a 20kg combo on it stays put. definitely sturdy and it fulfill its purpose nicely. it may be not suitable for "tall/big" combos with an open back.
I have a Boss Katana 100/212 and the stand it's too low for it, (so there's nothing for the amp to lean on) but I ziptied a plank of wood to the stand, as wide as the amp itself and sits perfectly. you can't even see it.
besides all that I'm pretty satisfied with it.

Here is why it's a necessary equipment
Alexandros32 04.10.2022
Before I buy it, I took some time what are the benefits of it (please do the same). It indeed directs the sound upwards and avoid loss of sound by the distance you will have between the amplifier and the floor (material of floor also makes a difference because of the density and it's reflection). For the average bedroom users will not make a huge difference but if you are planning to make a simple recording you will hear a difference if you pay attention to it. There are a lot of factors that define the sound. I use it below a vox ac15c1 and it fits quite well. Even for a voxac30 would be ok. The protective foam will be deformed from the weight but it is still usable.

Simple & Effective
Kaptin Marko 05.10.2021
Bought this as a basic amp stand to get the amp off the floor and to direct the sound. Solid, reliable and easy to use are Pro's The only drawback is that the legs in front, that go under the amp could be a bit longer, or be made adjustable to fit a little bit deeper amplifier.

All in all, a good product and well worth getting, but be sure to measure your amp first. Would recommend.

Good value for money
4will8 29.11.2020
The thing that attracted me to this stand was the it would actually fold flat so take up little room when not in use, plus of course the very simple design. It would have gotten 5 stars but for the fact the angle between the back and the legs which support the amp aren't at 90 degrees so my combo either rests against the back support and the back edge of the casing or I rock it a bit forward to rest fully on the base supports. In the end I just put a thin spacer between the two parts of the stand to ensure they are at 90 degrees to each other. I'd be more than happy to buy another one of these if I required another amp stand.

Goede versterkerstand
CJ82 16.11.2023
Stevige versterkerstand.
Prijs kwaliteit top!

Value-for-money Amp Stand
.:iLiAS:. 09.04.2021
If you need an amp stand for a home studio, seek no more. The stand provided by Thomann is rock solid and can easily handle the weight of a 1x12 guitar combo amp. In my case, I have loaded a Laney IRT30-112 Ironheart (Dimensions: 536 x 636 x 346 mm , Weight: 20.5 kg) without any issues. The only thing I had to do was to add two small wooden wedges between the amp and the stand to clear the small gap between them.
