Thomann S12HS Saxophone Shoulder Strap

Pros:
-This strap will relief the tension on the neck, because the strap rests on the shoulder.
-The strap can be adjusted in length with one-hand action, shorten it with a simple tug or lengthen it with a relief on the buckle.
-The metal hook is fully closed by spring action giving security with your every move.
-The padded shoulder parts makes the strap very comfortable to wear, even for longer periods of time.

Cons (minor issues though, more reflections):
-It takes a bit of time to get used to this (or any) shoulder strap, because it positions the saxophone different to the body (more to your side). Which is perfect for bigger saxophones like tenor, but less perfect for alto.
-The buckle is pure metal which gives it strength and durabilaty, but might damage the laquer on the saxophone support ring. (Adding some tape ore a rubber sleeve around the hook easily prevents this)

Overall it is a very durable, comfortable strap with great value for the money. I strongly advise it.

Für meine Übestunden Zuhause habe ich mir diesen Gurt gekauft. Aufmerksam wurde ich auf Schultergurte durch einige Musikerseiten. Dann habe ich die angebotenen Schultergurte der verschiedenen Hersteller angesehen, und mich wegen der etwas schmaleren dezenteren Ausführung für den Thomann Gurt entschieden. Für mich ist es praktisch, dass der Haken, an dem das Sax eingehängt wird, bei dieser Version flexibel angebracht ist. Da ich viel am Schreibtisch mit Musik / Sax arbeite (z.B. beim Titel raushören), ideal, das Sax lässt sich beim Schreiben sehr schnell an die Seite schieben. Für manche Zwecke wäre evt. fest angebrachter Haken besser. Diese Option also unbedingt vor Kauf beachten. Bei Nutzung für Saxspiel in Proben etc. verwende ich momentan lieber einen Nackengurt. An Tagen mit Nackenproblemen verwende ich diesen Schultergurt aber auch ohne Probleme.
Die Verarbeitung ist top, sehr gut ist für mich hier auch die schnelle Verstellbarkeit.

La bandoulière est bien finie, elle s'ajuste facilement et le mousqueton rassure sur la tenue du sax.
Malheureusement elle n'est pas adaptée pour moi à une utilisation avec le sax baryton. L'instrument, par son poids et ses dimensions, se trouve trop plaqué contre le corps, la position de la main droite est très inconfortable et on perd en liberté de mouvement. Dommage.
Je l'utiliserai avec mon Alto, plus léger.
