Thomann Awesome Bass Bag!
William P. 30.03.2022
This is a brilliant bag for small tours and travelling. This is by far better than 7 or 10 other bags i know or have used. It has done mini tours, its been on trains regularly it is tough, has more than enough room ( very sensibly designed) my old Precision feels safe in it. The quality of the sewing and material is 1A+, if it ever wears out ( possible due to use) I would instantly buy another if they are still being made when apes rule the earth!

Great Buy, would definitely recommend!
Bassguitar&Piano 16.12.2021
I have no idea what to expect with bass bags as this the first time that I needed one. This is Thomann s own brand. The inside was of thick grey velvet like material, a large neckrest, and well padded all around. The outer part looks good. Zips, stiching seem strong.

So, this thing seems pretty much indestructible. I have used it quite a bit and it looks like it's still got a lot of life in it. Several bumps it took on virtually every component of a train were not reflected in the basses that were carried in it, so I guess the very thick padding does work. The straps work well

J
Best Bass Case I Own
JJJones 04.03.2020
I asked Thomann to swap this case out with another case I ordered when there was a problem with getting the first case in stock (amazing customer service by the way) and as soon as I got this case I realized how lucky that was. The Thomann Safecase 80 is by far the best bass case I own and I have owned and worn out quite a few. The construction is extremely solid, it feels so comfortable to wear, and the protection this case provides is amazing. There is plenty of storage space on the case and I don't struggle with carrying the various things I need for a gig. I absolutely recommend this case for its supreme quality, construction, and protection. I know that when I buy my next bass that the only case I'll order for it is the Thomann Safecase 80.

C
Just perfect
Comesana30 27.06.2021
Truly an excellent product. I was very worried because I purchased a Thomann E-Bass Gigbag Premium four years ago, which ended up being a piece of trash (some months later it broke in different places). So I did not wanted to repeat the experience and I was looking for MONO cases, but they were too much money and not so many advantages. So I finally decided to take a chance betting for Thomann again. Man, this time I won the lottery!!!. I have a pretty heavy Fender Jazz Bass (American deluxe) and a lot of gear to carry on, and everything fits perfectly on my SafeCase 80, included 34 cms long mini pedalboard, which I made specifically for the Isothermal Storage Bag, which is also pretty sturdy. All in all, about 9 kilos.
I bought it all 4 months ago and just waited to see how it behaves, and now I can tell you, its just perfect, no signs of loose seams or tears like the previous one.
No problem at all with the position of the bag, access is just fine, and it is a big one.

Great case, very sturdy, and ideal for protecting your bass guitar. Additionally, having a small bag on the case is a good advantage.

Can't find a better one
Anonymous 20.03.2022
It was a Christmas gift for my partner but as he put it "It's like someone thought of all the things that are wrong with guitar cases and fixed them". A bit on heavier side but the adjustable straps and good back support make it easy to carry.

Good alternative for a hard shell case.
Jazzbass1946 02.10.2021
I used to take my basses in a case to gigs and rehearsals. The decision to start using a gigbag proved to be an improvement. This specific Thomann gigbag offers good protection for my instruments and sufficient space for a zoom pedalboard, adapter and cables. From my car to the venue I can carry it on my back or just over one shoulder and still have both hands free.
When traveling by air (experience)I would still advise a case though.
I have read quite a lot of stories about bassists taking their instrument in a gigbag as cabin luggage but my carrier (Transavia) won't allow it. It must travel as "odd sized luggage" in the cargo compartment hence the hardshell case.

L
Well protected and comfy.
Lupercio 27.09.2024
I use this case with confidence that it is going to protect my bass and that I have plenty of space for my accessories. It also has a small pocket for strings on top, very handy. It has the handles in very practical place so it is well balanced and easy to transport. It is so strong that I let it go in the back of the bus with all the other gear, something I would not do with a soft gig bag. The extra detachable bag is a very nice extra, strong and good looking, pity it does not have a shoulder strap. The only con is the lock of the flap over the main pocket, it is not always comfortable to close but it works nevertheless. I do recommend it. For that price it is as good as a Mono bag for twice the price.

Excellent!

This gig bag is very good. The padding thick and rigid and my G&L bass doesn't move around much inside. I'm confident that my instrument is well protected.

Amaizing

Well made all around, the quality, style and durability. I think it could have a tank run over it and what ever is inside would still be in one piece. Smells "Asian" when you first unpack it if you know what I mean.
