The case is exceptionally well-crafted, with beautiful stitching and smooth-gliding zippers. The damask-patterned sections are padded with soft material, serving both aesthetic and functional purposes. The detachable pouch can hold six beer cans and two ice packs, making it ideal for extended rehearsals or outings.
The case features rigid walls throughout, preventing it from being folded even when empty, but this design ensures the instrument stays protected in a tour bus environment. A 6-string, 35” scale bass guitar fits snugly inside with no wasted space, yet the case remains comfortably sized. The neck support part has a zipper, allowing the inner foam to be replaced if needed.
On the exterior, there’s a large pocket over the body (though I find it slightly stiff). Inside this pocket, you’ll find a padded, velcro'd compartment for a tablet/14” laptop and a separate velcro holder for cables. The memory foam carrying handle is a brilliant touch.
Cons:
- The guitar neck cannot be secured with a velcro, meaning the instrument could slip out by accident.
- The detachable pouch lacks rigid walls.
