Very nice tenor case.
JLWII 02.12.2019
This is a very nice tenor sax case. The handles are amazing and the backpack straps seems like they will last for a while. This Thomann case is replacing a ProTec Contoured case and as far as I can tell, it will protect my tenor as well as the ProTec did.

Use:
I play in a professional big band and I am a band director, so I am always on the move and wanted a case that I could handle my lifestyle.

Pros:
Price is a huge pro. When the case is closed and I shake the case, I don't hear or feel any movement, which is super important. This is everything I wanted in a case, so everything.

Cons:
None so far.

Great Value for Money
Richard826 16.02.2017
This is a well made and extremely light tenor saxophone case. It seems well made with a robust frame that should keep your sax safe whilst in normal transit (carrying / boot of the car / boot of a coach); it is probably strong enough to put in the hold of a plane but that's your call! Nice straps and handles make this an easy case to carry. The only drawback is the really tight fit inside (drawback or safety feature - you decide). This has meant that we've had to hollow out a small piece of the foam on the inside of our case to make the saxophone fit without putting undue pressure on the keys but this was easy enough. For the money this is a great replacement case for your saxophone if you don't want a gig bag.

A
Good product, great value.
Anonymous 30.03.2016
I bought this case as a lighter alternative to the original item for my1937 Selmer BA Tenor. The instrument fitted perfectly and there is plenty of room for ancillaries. The option to wear this case as a back-pack or with a shoulder-strap is another plus point. The music compartment is useful and the extra Velcro fastener under the handle, and over the zips, is a reassuring feature.
A good product at a very competitive price. I intend to but the Soprano version in the near future!

CJ
Good protection but bulky and heavy
Casey Jones 18.02.2023
This is a well made case with good protection and fits my Sakkusu tenor snugly and the outer pocket is capacious. But I'm not going to go trekking far with it, as the name implies - it's very heavy and bulky. I wouldn't want to carry it far, although it does have a sling strap and backstraps. I regret buying it for this reason but it's not a big enough issue to justify the hassle of a return.
