On unpacking the box I was pleased to see the very solid construction and high quality finish. A nice detail is the ample supply of nuts , bolts and washers.
The fastening catches seem very sturdy.
The service hatch and the lift up top rails made wiring up the units installed so much easier and are therefore options I would recommend.
One small point I would make is regarding the advertised size. The rack box is tall enough to take a total of 8 units, but the front fastening rails only have space for bolting in 7 units. It is therefore necessary to plan ahead how units are to be installed to make maximum use of the cabinet space without running out of fastening rail space. In my situation I only needed 7U of space and so the rack box suited my requirements.
Overall, an excellent product.

An excellent rack! These come with or without pop-up mixer shelves. I have the pop up and I have also put this on casters - available from Thomann (with fixings - took about 20 minutes to drill and screw).
It's extremely sturdy and still fairly light. The service hatch is plastic, but this is fine - and has enough room to fit maybe 3x 4pole speakon or two std speakon and 4x XLR cables through the back. The top can be removed without taking off the front panel and the depth is plenty for most applications.
I have fitted a mackie mixer, Focusrite saffire pro 40, 2U Digital EQ, PA Amp and 1U compressor/gate/limiters (x4). For me, this rack and kit is ideal for monitors or for FOH PA on small events/gigs.
It also includes the newer (quite old now) style rack-mount screws (the ones which sit in the rail and you can simply move up and down until they are in the right place) on the mixer top and a massive bag of standard rack-mounts for the front section.
