The actual mouthpiece sound incredibly good and is seemingly well built. The ligature, however, not so much. It's very prone to causing scratches on the surface of the mouthpiece.

Really disappointed, maybe mine was just a bad one?

I ordered this rather expensive mouthpiece expecting it to be better than any I already had, but I was so disappointed with it, I had to send it back. The tone was fine in the lower registers, but in the uppers it was thin and weedy and squeeked and squeeled terribly. Had the same trouble on both my YAS 62 and TJ Sig Custom and tried it with all sorts of different reeds, so it was definitely the mouthpiece at fault. Have ordered an Otto Link instead.

The mouthpiece is quite responsive and ready.
In my opinion does sound brighter than the regular older models with the same tip opening.
The ligature has some very sharp inner edges that tend to scratch the surface of the piece after only one use. Be careful if you intend keeping it in mint condition!

Ich spiele das Meyer 6M mit der beiliegenden Ligatur und einen 2,5-Vandooren-Blatt auf einem AltSax Keilwerth ST90 IV. Die Ligatur ist prima und der Klang des Meyer ist warm, voll und mit schönen Obertönen - ähnlich zu Grover Washington Junior. Die Intonation ist bei allen Tönen sehr gut. Klare Empfehlung !!
