Wish I knew about it sooner

For the price its brilliant 28.09.2023

I've been practising a couple of years and use YouTube to try and learn songs and this is perfect. I hated having to skip over and over to see what they were doing back trying to go back and slowing down speed and back to normal speed. It's so easy and quick to use. It doesn't work with android phones or smart TVs. It works with Laptops, PC and apple products. Well made and sturdy and doesn't feel like I was ripped off. Packing was even good. Small but not cramped. Honestly if I had got this at Christmas I would be thinking best present ever. Tackling the songs that were just too hard for me to grasp now

Ik was aanvankelijk op zoek naar een looper. Toen kwam ik dit apparaat tegen en vroeg me meteen af of dit werkelijk doet wat het belooft. Het is echt een superuniek en megahandig apparaat om snel en makkelijk solo's o.i.d. uit te zoeken.

Well it does exactly what it’s supposed to do BUT:
- you can’t just go to YouTube and use it as described. My experience is that you have to go to the tutor’s actual site and use it from there. It can be an irritant.
- the tutor’s site has to be on VIDAMI’s list and although the list is long and is regularly updated it isn’t exhaustive I guarantee that’s frustrating.
To be honest this piece of kit is now rarely taken off the shelf.

Ich wollte das Pedal für die Steuerung der Transcribe! Software am PC nutzen, da es nervt, ständig zwischen Maus, Tastatur und Instrument zu wechseln und unterbrochen zu werden. Da scheint dss Vidami perfekt geeignet und gut verarbeitet. So weit so gut. Schon bei der Einrichtung fiel das Vidami Blue durch. Das Manual schweigt sich weitgehend aus über die drei Betriebsmodi, und auch Transcribe! erwähnt nicht, dass man in den Page Turner Modus wechseln muss. Hat man das rausgefunden und über die - nur auf der Vidami-Website, nicht im Manual! - beschriebene Umstellung erledigt, kann es weitergehen. Bei mir war dann Ende, weil das Pedal beim kurzen wie beim langen Drücken eines Schalters dasselbe Zeichen sendete. Die automatische Einrichtung im Transcribe! lässt sich dann nicht abschließen. Tut man's manuell - aufwändig! - fehlt eine Schaltmöglichkeit. So für mich nicht nutzbar, schon gar nicht zu dem Preis. Geht zurück.
