Doesn't suit me

The quality of this shoulder rest feels good, but unfortunately it doesn't suit me personally. I have tried it in many different settings but cannot get it to sit comfortably on my shoulder/collar bone as the curve of the shoulder rest simply does not fit my body shape. Part of the problem is that the rest does not have very much padding so it feels hard and uncomfortable as well. In addition, the feet are too short, even when fully extended, so for longer necks, this shoulder rest is probably not suitable. I ended up going to my local music store and trying different shoulder rests, and came out with the cheaper model from the same brand, the Viva La Musica Flex. The Flex does not have the same luxurious finish, but has much more padding and the curve seems to fit my shoulder much better.

diese schulterstütze kann mit den grossen namen wie wolf oder kun mindestens mithalten
saubere verarbeitung
angenehm auf der schulter zu tragen
tolle optik
gute verstellmöglichkeit

die viva la musica hält besser an der geige als die wolf produkte(meine meinung)
durch die verwendung des holzes klingen meine geigen etwas dunkler und kräftiger,bei guter ansprache (muss aber nicht für sämtliche geigen gelten)
der geigenboden sollte schon ausreichend über die zarge überstehen sonst hält sie nicht so gut
(eine meiner alten geigen ist an dieser stelle besonders abgewetzt,deshalb)
bin positiv mit dieser schulterstütze überrascht

Une épaulière confortable assez ajustable, plus légère et qui absorbe moins le son du violon que les Kun classique, car faite en érable.

Peu s'ajuster un peu plus basse aussi que la Kun, elle absorbe quand même un peu le son dans le haut du spectre et à tendance à "boniifier" les son graves de mon violon.

Diese Schulterstütze bietet viele Möglichkeiten der individuellen, ergonomischen Anpassung.

Sie ist auch ein optischer Zugewinn. Ich verwende sie vorwiegend an meiner elektrischen Geige. Da diese nicht über einen klassischen Korpus verfügt, sondern nur über einen angedeuteten Rahmen, sieht man die Stütze natürlich. Daher freue ich mich darüber, wie gut das Holz sich optisch einfügt. Sie sitzt nun auch fest, obwohl die richtige Kalibrierung etwas länger gedauert hat. (Interessanterweise emfinde ich sie hier als bequemer, als an meiner akustischen.)

Die Füße lassen sich einklappen, was bei weniger Stauraum sehr praktisch ist. Es besteht auch die Möglichkeit, zusätzlich einen Fuß mit längerer Schraube zu erwerben. Dieser ist allerdings ein wenig teuer wie ich finde.
