Whether you are looking to improve on your scale skills or just refresh on some theory - this is a must buy. Actually I would call it a mandatory book to have for anyone who is playing guitar! It is what it say on the tin - the book is filled with the most important scales in all variations.
The only downside to the book which won't affect my rating is the small size of the font used in it. As an older guy with glasses I really need to focus to see the notes but other than that it is just a perfect and must have book!

Great book to learn scales!

I purchased the ?Little Black Book of Scales? to practise some new scales and to improve my guitar-skills. Knowing some scales makes it much more fun to jam along to some backing tracks and so does practicing. The book offers all of the important scales in different keys and also in different styles. It?s not needed to be able to read notes, all scales are also shown as tabulature. I would recomment this book for every guitarist that wants to practise some scales and to every beginner because all of the cales are depicted in a clear way that makes it easy to understand how to play the scales.
