The XVive P3 XLR Bluetooth audio receiver, which combines an ultra-compact design with a useful signal range, ensures a reliable wireless connection for smartphones, tablet PCs, and laptops with professional audio systems. The P3 supports Bluetooth 5.1, A2DP, and AVRCP profiles as well as SBC and AAC audio codecs, covers a frequency range from 20Hz to 20kHz using A2DP, and ensures a detailed sound thanks to DA conversion with 16-bit/48kHz quality. One XVive P3 allows a mono signal to be received, whereas a stereo signal requires two P3 units to be linked.
The XVive P3 enables mixing consoles and active PA speakers to receive Bluetooth audio from smartphones, tablet PCs, and laptops simply by plugging the P3 into an audio system's XLR input and pairing it with a Bluetooth device. When using one P3 receiver, the left and right channels of a stereo signal are summed to mono, whereas the integrated stereo-link function allows two P3 units to be combined to receive stereo sound, e.g. by using the designated P3D stereo Bluetooth receiver set from XVive, which comprises two P3s.
The XVive P3's built-in lithium-ion battery provides a capacity of 300mAh for up to eight hours of operation and recharges in two hours when connected to a 5V USB power source. What is more, the compact P3 Bluetooth receiver is designed to allow charging even during operation, so that users, e.g. musicians, DJs, or party organisers, will never have to worry about their P3 suddenly running out of power while the event is in full swing. The P3 also features two LED lights that indicate the current charge level and battery status in two different colours.
Xvive Audio officially entered the market in 2012 with its compact U2 wireless guitar system. Since then, the company has also been involved in the development of wireless microphone technology. Its catalogue also includes effects pedals, such as the Signature Series, which were developed in partnership with guitarist Thomas Blug. The products are designed by an American team, based in Pasadena, California, which is composed of musicians and engineers and draws on decades of professional experience. Its lead designer, Howard Davies, was previously employed at Electro Harmonix and Pigtronix, among others. Xvive Audio's goal is to create products that deliver exceptional sound and build quality, while remaining affordable for any musician.
The XVive P3's signal range of up to 30.5m (100ft) makes it the perfect tool for receiving wireless Bluetooth audio on mixing consoles and active PA speakers for weddings, dance parties, and any kind of event that requires music. The versatile, easy-to-use P3 will convince users in just about every situation thanks to its integrated XLR output that always ensures a reliable wireless connection to professional audio systems without any adapters. This compact Bluetooth audio receiver is also an excellent choice for all musicians who want to stream backing tracks from a mobile device to their practice amplifier or to the PA system at a venue.
