Nice and Crisp Sound
celsofcoelho 08.07.2017
This unit has some very good sound, very crisp and clear, I've been using it more than one year and I'm very happy.

I've put face to face it a DBR12 and the only diference is that there is no amplifier on the CBR12.

it is very light, very easy to handle and carry, it sounds great flat, just EQ it at the mixer

If you really want to achive low end, you better think on a subwoofer.

P
Potente, pero falto de graves Powerful, but lacking bass
Paul559 17.04.2016

After buying a Yamaha CBR 10 model and finding that it was short on bass, I ordered this CBR 12 hoping that it would have the same "energy" as its little brother, but with a more usable low end. And, although there is indeed a little more power in the bass, it is still scarce compared to other 12" models from brands like Behringer, perhaps more aimed at electronic music. Even so, I am going to keep it, because I have a subwoofer for events that need it, and for small things like conferences, guitar and voice, etc. the bass is enough. For a DJ I don't see it appropriate unless it is accompanied by a subwoofer. PROS: -Power: with its high SPL , next to a 350w RMS stage, a small venue is filled -Clarity: the voice sounds clear in any style of music -Weight: very light, because it is passive CONS: -Hurtful treble with electronic music not very well mixed: the dishes have an excessive 'hiss' -Little bass on its own The pity is not being able to compare it to a DBR 12 with both together, because the sound of the DBR seems more balanced to me, but obviously its price is different for being active...

Very poor quality speaker. I just ordered one to try, because I wanted JBL EON 305, but unfortunately they are no longer manufactured, it's a real shame. I will nevertheless keep it to use for feedback, because I will be ashamed to put it on the front with the terrible sound it has. In terms of manufacturing, it looks like a plastic toy.

Tolle Box Great box
Anonymous 29.01.2015
Sound gut, präzise, Bässe könnten a bissle tiefer sein.
Sound good, precise, bass could be a little deeper. But the others in the price range weren't any better. Low weight, transport, a handle at the top would be good. I like to use the angled Speakon plugs, unfortunately not possible here because the housing of the box is in the way. I can recommend her with a clear conscience.
