The most responsive of the Yamaha GR mouthpieces.

I have used 6 Yamaha trumpet mouthpieces in the past, however although they are high quality and good for the job they are for - 16c4 for general playing, 14b4 good for Jazz, after a few weeks using the 14A4A MP I was surprised to find it was so adaptable. The depth is shallow enough for rich lead playing but also once you get used to it, the thicker rim suits comfortable lower register playing also, and without any loss of tone or richness in timbre. I have used Curry and GR MP's in the past, but this is the one I will stick with.

Nach langer Pause habe ich wieder mit dem Trompetenspiel begonnen und mir dafür eine neue Yamaha 4335 II gekauft.
Das mitgelieferte Mundstück (11B4) war mir allerdings etwas zu klein und ich habe nach einem für mich passenderem gesucht.
Im Vergleich hatte ich das GP Allen Vizzutti, GP 14A4a und GP 14B4.

Mit dem GP 14B4 habe ich einen schönen Klang erreicht, aber etwas Mühe in der Höhe.
Das GP 14A4a brachte mir erhebliche Vorteile in der Höhe und hatte dennoch einen vollen Ton in der Tiefe.
Das noch flachere GP Allen Vizzutti hat bei mir in der Höhe keine weiteren Vorteile gebracht, aber starke Nachteile beim Klang in der Tiefe.
Mit dem GP 14A4a bin ich in jeder Hinsicht sehr zufrieden.
Das GP 14B4 habe ich aber auch behalten und nur das Allen Vizzutti zurückgegeben.
