The floor tom works great if you have a stage custom set. You can tune them fairly low and they sound great. If you want to tune them higer, you might want to consider an 18 to go along for the extra depth in your sound. In my opinion Yamaha always delivers

Great floor tom. I like that the rubber legs has pins - prevents from unwanted sliding.

Ayer me llegó. Iba a comprar un goliath de gama baja, pero llegaron a mis manos unos cuantos euros y me decidí por este Yamaha de 16".
Puede llegar a pensarse muchas veces que se paga más por la marca. No es el caso.
La transición del sonido del centro a los bordes es buena. Los rimshots de momento bien.
El volumen puede ser bien alto (mi gato dio un salto de más de un metro).
Recomiendo baquetas 5b para "rockˋn rollear" a gusto.
Sólo un aspecto deficiente si mides más de 1,95m: queda un poco bajo. Pero se puede solucionar con unas alzas más largas.

birkenholz mag ich als material für trommeln ganz besonders. vor allem im studio knackt und knallt es wunderbar.
ich verwende das tom als ergänzung zum 12" hänge- und 14" standtom, weil ich für manche songs richtig tief-fette trommeln möchte.
das tom ist stimmstabil und bringt mit dem coated ambassador fell den idealen sound für jazzig, bluesig und rockiges.
