Bought a new, quite expesive, strat-style guitar over the inter-web. But when doing a quick setup, I noticed the pickups seemed to not be properly tightened. Turned out the silicone tube "springs"/bushings for the pickups was completely dried out, causing it to crack and fall of. All the pickups had the same issue. Makes you wonder what kind of conditions the guitar has been seen / been stored under after its completion at the factory.
I've now replaced all of the silicone bushings with this product, and it does the job perfectly! There's enough tubing for quite a few replacements, since you don't need much per screw. We'll see how long they last, though. I ordered 2 packs,, just in case. But since I hardly had to use anything from the first one, I'll have tubing for years to come.
