I have recently bought a PMP530 powered mixer from Thomann and 2 of the above speakers VS1520's to run as a vocal pa for our band. I have been playing for over 30 years and I cannot rate these highly enough. We are loud, I run a Peavey 550watt bass rig to give you some idea of how loud we are talking. These speakers cut through everything to deliver clear vocals without hiss, or any other background noise. At this price they are unbeatable. I would reccomend this set up to any band doing pub rock type gigs that is on a budget. We will add a powered monitor soon and a passive one, probably a 15" the box active and a 12" the box MKII passive.
The speakers themselves are surprisingly light and someone in R&D has put the handles in the right place so that when you lift them they feel balanced and easy to carry. Good rugged build that I am sure will last for years.
Thank you Thomann, where have you been all my life?

These Things Rock
Anonymous 09.01.2016
I bought a pair of VS1520 around a year and a half ago and have been using then regular ever since with no problems what so ever. I plug mine in through a t.amp TSA4-700 amplifier and the result is crystal clear, crisp sound with no background noise whatsoever even when the volume is set to 11.
They are relatively sturdy and still look brand new despite the heavy use. The only thing that I would have wanted to add to them in retrospect are corner protectors as the fabric in the corner has a tendency to rip whilst being loaded and unloaded, other than that there is no other sign of wear. Whilst their size and portability makes them ideal for hauling around with you for next gig I do not believe that these were made for excessive road use.
Over all I am very satisfied, these speakers have been used in various scenarios both indoors and outdoors and they have never let me down. They have never distorted when cranked up to the max and deliver a surprising punch considering their power rating, and all this at a price that does not break the back. Super value!

Not a bad speaker for the money
Larry F. 19.08.2015
Bought two of these for use as full range speakers in our small set up and as tops on our larger PA, the speaker preforms pretty well at both. As full range speakers the bass drivers deliver undistorted lows at about 500W and the tweeters are really crisp, to the point of having to pull back on the EQ, as tops again great the tweeters are really sharp and the 15"driver has no difficulty punching out anything above 150Htz. They are Behringer, will they last? time will tell but 8 months in doing 2 to 3 gigs a week, they are pretty solid.

Great Product
TobyB 06.09.2013
Very good i am in a band doing pub gigs and weddings and its great for small to medium locations, quality does not drop the louder you go and very loud and powerful for 600w speakers. I have never used it outside but will probably be more than capable with two speakers. Is not as heavy as you would expect but is fairly bulky to give a good sound. I bought the bundle and it is a great all round product, it works very well together and being Behringer It's a good reliable brand that you can trust to perform. its got everything you need (except stands).
