Durch die 214 Bauweise ist das Spielgefühl sehr angenehm, jedoch hat das D3 gerade in den tiefen Lagen einen deutlichen Nachteil gegenüber dem D4/5/6 welche im Volumen und Klang deutlich überlegen sind. Für Anfänger mit wenig ausgeprägtem Ansatz oder Spieler mit eher kleinen Lippen kann das Mundstück jedoch eine gute Wahl sein.
