Good value at a good price.
Jay Schonken 11.07.2022
This is a good guitar for its price range. It has a fast fanfret neck which makes it great for doing solos. There is no bevel where you rest your arm on the guitar which makes it feel a bit awkward to play as the edge of the guitar digs into your arm. Good clean tones from pick ups however I feel it's lacking a bit when playing with distortion. Overall a good guitar and craftmanship for its price range.

P
First impressions of my Multiscale
PODD 01.12.2022
Here's my review of the Cort KX307MS 'Open Pore' Multiscale, I just bought one and looked at it critically, generally, it's good guitar and IMHO worth the money.
Body: Mahogany, single cut, nice ST shape.
Bolt-on neck: roasted maple, a very subtle colour that matches the guitar in the finish, I don't like the 'Pointy' Headstock though, they always get chipped. I really don't like the nasty cheap Plastic type Nut either, sort of lets it down a bit visually, mine snagged a bit, so will need some graphite.
Black teardrop fingerboard inlays, these actually swop sides at the 12th fret, I think that's a nice touch, Dots would have been OK though, what is with the Teardrops?
Multiscale: 648-686 mm (25.5" – 27"), Well, I could go on forever about the concept and design variances of a Multiscale neck, this is a good average of them all, it won't suit everyone though, but I like it a lot, there's a lot of comments that Multiscale's Intonate better, I won't join that argument, but I have a Strobe Tuner and I cannot see any difference, after all any guitar isn't even in tune with itself, obviously any sideways movement on an angled fret must alter the pitch slightly though. I was initially concerned that this may make string bends a bit unpredictable, in practice, I barely noticed it.
Fingerboard radius: 400 mm (15.75"), Honestly, I didn't even notice this, as it's very slight.
Nut width: 52.3 mm (2.06"), as this is angled, it appears a lot wider
24 Frets, The finish on the frets is first class, upper frets have really good access and are really chunky.
Pickups: 2 Power Bar humbuckers (bridge and neck), I think these are quite a limiting factor, as seven string pickups are difficult to get, these sound ok though.
1 Volume and 1 tone control, Do the job really well.
3-Way toggle switch.
String-through-bridge, Mmmmmn. made to a price and it shows. But string through the body, a nice touch. And to get all seven straight in a line, a lot of guitar makers don't, Impressive.
Black nickel-plated hardware, Time will tell on how durable this is?
Factory strings: D'Addarío EXL110 + NW059, cheaper to buy as a seven-string set, at just under a tenner, the gauges are 10,13,17,26,36,46,59, the tens are fairly standard and you can get 9's if that's what you want, I didn't like them though, I found them a bit 'Rough', but that is a personal preference.
Finish: Open Pore, Superb finish, actually flawless.
Colour: Red or Black
I really like this guitar and think it's great value for money, it does have a few shortcomings, a couple of things I would change if I could, but one thing that really bugs me, is the Neck Dive, the Guitar just won't balance correctly and the headstock will creep down, it's not as bad as an SG, but it is there, perhaps this is why a lot of Multiscale's are made headless.
After all my knit picking, would I still buy one, my answer is yes, absolutely.

Great introductory Fanfret guitar
Iconoclast TS 27.01.2023
Bought this after checking out some videos on it, hadn't heard of the brand at first but after doing some research decided to pick one up.

I like in the US, Thomann had the guitar to me in just a couple days, which was inredibly fast. The guitar itself has a great finish, the frets are smooth and it needed pretty little setup.

The sound is pretty good, the multiscale bridge was a bit to adjust to at first, but after awhile it feels pretty natural, this thing chugs though. Tuned to drop G currently and chugging out some nasty riffs, it's so much fun

Definitely would recommend this to anyone looking to get a fanfret multiscale or a 7 string guitar
