Daddario EJ70 Mandolin Strings
Stocky 18.02.2016
I have found it difficult to find ball-end mandolin strings and when I saw these on Thomann's website I ordered them immediately. As always they were excellent value and arrived quickly and well packaged from thomann, They are exceptional quality and have a crisp, bright sound. I have had them on my mandolin for a couple of weeks now and they still sound as good as when I first put them on.

As a loud player am am glad that these strings multiple gigs before they need replacement. They have a nice warm but transparent sound.

Hard to find ball end mandolin strings

It appears there is little competition for ball end mandolin strings so you are pretty well limited to these d'addarios, no choice of gauge it seems, A lighter gauge would be useful for electric mandolins, fortunately they are pretty good sounding strings
