These strings are fantastic! Very good, not only for guitarist, but for those who want to try an alternate tuning.

Als Cello-Anfänger/Ausprobierer mit Gitarrenhintergrund habe ich mir diesen Saitensatz geleistet. Damit konnte ich von der Gitarre bekannte Spielmuster einfach auf's Cello übertragen und mich besser auf das Erlernen der Spieltechnik (v.a. der rechten Hand) konzentrieren. So habe ich am Anfang wirklich schnell Fortschritte gemacht.
Der Klang der Saiten kam mir ein bisschen dumpf vor, das kann aber natürlich auch am Instrument (Roth&Junius RJC15) liegen.
Dummerweise bin ich einige Zeit später mit einer professionellen Cellistin zusammen gekommen, die fast wieder mit mir Schluss gemacht hat, als sie die Quartsaiten bemerkt hat :D
Jetzt sind wieder die alten Quintsaiten drauf, denn das Umstimmen der Quartsaiten auf Quintstimmung kann man vergessen (dafür ist die Spannung der beiden tiefsten Saiten zu niedrig).
Trotzdem eine Empfehlung für Umsteiger, Experimentierfreudige und Nachahmer der alten Jazz-Schule. Mit erhöhter Vorsicht in Gegenwart klassischer Cellisten ;)
