Good choice for beginner

The set is pretty well matched (although if you plan to add an extra E-string, it doesn't blend as well). I use these strings with NS-Design NXT5 electric cello, which also comes pre-fitted with these.

The strings are decent sounding but not spectacular. They give out enough volume so you can hear yourself when playing unplugged. When plugged in, it's mostly irrelevant anyway.

I would prefer a richer tone, especially as with electric cello you don't get the instrument body sound the same way you get with an acoustic instrument. These strings are a pretty good starting point, though. Especially since most brands are quite a bit more expensive.

A good set of strings. Unfortunately the A-string broke almost right away, but other than that I'm happy with these strings. Nice sound and good quality

Gut auch für Akustik-Cello

Der Saitensatz wurde eigentlich in Zusammenarbeit von Daddario und der Firma NS für den Einsatz mit den NS E-Cellos entwickelt. Ich nutze die Saiten für mein Akustik-Cello - mit Shadow-Nanoflex Abnehmer für das Spielen über Verstärker, aber auch ganz ohne Verstärkung.

Untereinander klingen die NS510 Saiten recht ausgewogen - die Übergänge zwischen den Saiten gelingen ohne große Brüche in der Klangcharakteristik. In der Medium-Stärke sind die Saiten in allen Lagen gut zu greifen.

Es mag Saiten geben, die lauter oder brillanter klingen. Das spielt aber nur für Konzert-Solisten eine Rolle. Wer über eine Verstärkeranlage spielt, wird gerade die zurückhaltende Abstimmung dieser Saiten schätzen, denn sie sind weniger anfällig für Rückkopplungen als andere Saitensätze.

Dommage, j'ai intérêt à casser les autres cordes maintenant...
Dur dur de trouver des cordes compatibles avec le NS design CR5.
Seule le LOW F est trouvable isolément, ça fait cher pour remplacer une corde !!
