Bass Pick up Split P PickupsThe Split P (TM) humbucker creates very warm bass and crisp highs with excellent overtones. The mids stay somewhat in the background. Both humbuckers are very sensitive to fine-tuned nuances.

These were bought to replace a stock set of Fender P-Bass pickups as they suddenly stopped working one day. First thing I noticed was the build quality, it was fantastic (unsurprising as it is a DiMarzio product). They were also incredible easy to install and connect to the electronics inside the guitar.
Once in they give a smooth tone, emphasizing the top and bottom ends with a slight mid cut, making them perfect for the more rocky based genres I play.

insanely loud

great sound in the pickups, but beware, they are extremely loud compared to other pickups I've tried. Make sure to start at a low volume.

DiMarzio DP127

Replaced a pair of generic pickups on a knock off P-Bass and I have no complaints. Sound is deeper and richer on the lows and brighter on the highs. With a nice pair of strings it sounds like a bass worth double what I paid. Instructions were clear and the white looks great.

Plenty of Punch for your P

I bought this several years ago to put in my lowly Squier P and it was like putting an Energizer bunny into it, it has just kept going all this time!
